Click on File/Save As, and change save as file type to a Word Document to save onto your computer.
This form can then be retrieved as a Word document and attached to an email.


Many people join Rotary as a means of "paying back" for the professional success they have achieved; they are looking for ways to help others. When you join Rotary, you play a role in helping the club achieve its community and worldwide goals. This is done both through involvement in projects and financial support.

Rotary Club membership is a great way to mix with community leaders from all walks of life and to hear outstanding speakers each week. We also join with the other Pierce County clubs for an annual program honoring a non-Rotarian resident who best exemplifies the Rotary ideal of "Service Above Self."

Prospective members must be personally and actively engaged in the business or profession for which classification they would qualify, be of good character and have a good business and professional reputation and be engaged as proprietor, partner, corporate officer or manager; holding a position in an executive capacity; or acting as the local agent or branch representative of a worthy and recognized business or profession.

If you wish to be considered for membership, the membership committee requires that a current member of the Rotary Club of Tacoma #8 fill out a membership proposal form for you and send it in to the Rotary office. After the membership committee and the Board review your proposal form you and your sponsor will be informed of the status by mail.

Our club meets at the Landmark Convention Center, in the Temple Theatre, on Thursdays at Noon. Please come and join us to experience what Rotary is really all about.
